¹⁶ A gracious woman
    will be respected,
but a ruthless man
    will only get rich.
¹⁷ Kindness is rewarded—
but if you are cruel,
    you hurt yourself.
¹⁸ Meanness gets you nowhere,
    but goodness is rewarded.
